COMPLETING THE NON-RESIDENT APPLICATION PROCESS

You understand and agree that the Iowa Concealed Certificate of Completion is not a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon. You understand non-residents must apply through the Iowa Department of Public Safety and pay any applicable fee charged and satisfy all requirements to be issued an Iowa Permit to Carry. We recommend calling ahead to the Iowa Department of Public Safety to confirm their fees and to set an appointment if necessary.

Only non-residents with jobs in Iowa that require them to carry concealed qualify for the Iowa Permit to Carry.

COMPLETING THE RESIDENT APPLICATION PROCESS

You understand and agree that the Iowa Concealed Certificate of Completion is not a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon. You understand Iowa residents must apply for the Permit to Carry through their local county sheriff’s office and pay any applicable fee charged and satisfy all requirements to be issued an Iowa permit to carry. We recommend calling ahead to your county sheriff’s office to confirm their fees and to set an appointment if necessary.

RECIPROCITY WITH OTHER STATES

As of November 12, 2021, we are aware the following 34 states honor the Iowa Permit to Carry:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

When traveling to other states, you must follow each individual state’s laws regarding concealed carry. We recommend finding the website of the issuing authority of each state’s concealed weapons permit to learn more about their concealed carry laws. If you need help locating a state website, please contact us.

COMPLETING THE COURSE

By taking the test for your Iowa Concealed Certificate of Completion and submission of your passing score you are certifying you personally did complete all sections of the training, and the test for an Iowa Concealed Certificate of Completion. Without the aid of another, the score you earned is your true score. By clicking, “I agree,” you are further certifying you did watch and listen to the safety and familiarization video in its entirety.

ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING

Your use of our website includes the ability to enter into agreements and/or make transactions electronically. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS CONSTITUTE YOUR AGREEMENT AND INTENT TO BE BOUND BY AND TO PAY FOR SUCH AGREEMENTS AND TRANSACTIONS. YOUR AGREEMENT AND INTENT TO BE BOUND BY ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS APPLIES TO ALL RECORDS RELATING TO ALL TRANSACTIONS YOU ENTER INTO ON THIS SITE. PAYMENTS

You agree that you will pay for all products you purchase through Iowaconcealed.com and that we may charge your payment method for any products purchased. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TIMELY PAYMENT OF FEES AND FOR PROVIDING IOWACONCEALED.COM A VALID PAYMENT METHOD FOR PAYMENT OF ALL FEES. All sales of products are final.

PRODUCT DELIVERY

Your Certificate of Completion is delivered to the email address you provide during checkout. A physical copy will also be mailed if requested during the checkout process. Failure to type in the correct email address or physical mailing address does not constitute grounds for a refund. No attempt to request further copies of email does not constitute grounds for a refund. We do not know you didn’t receive your certificate if you do not contact us.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee your Certificate of Completion will be accepted by the authority to which your application was submitted. In the event your application is denied due to the nature of our training, we will contact the issuing authority directly on your behalf. If we cannot resolve the issue, a full refund will be credited to the account used to purchase your Certificate of Completion. We will refund the amount paid to purchase your Certificate of Completion only.  We will not refund any application fees paid to the sheriff’s office through which you applied or any other expenses incurred during the application process.  You agree that you have read and understand the conditions of our guarantee by clicking, “I agree.”

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund of the cost of your Certificate of Completion will be issued to the account used to purchase your Certificate of Completion if an application is denied due to the nature of our training only. Refunds shall be requested by contacting our customer service via phone or email and customer MUST fill out the refund request form; which will be emailed to them after the refund is requested by the customer. Refund must be requested within 90 days of purchase. All refunds render the certificate invalid. Any attempt to process an invalid certificate will constitute fraud, and will be prosecuted.

You may cancel a digital download order only if you have not yet accessed the download or we haven’t shipped the product.  

DENIED APPLICATIONS

You agree that completing all requirements to obtain a Iowa concealed handgun license are your sole responsibility, and Iowaconcealed.com will not be held liable for failures to meet all requirements that result in a denied application.

PRIVACY POLICY

American Concealed is a private, veteran owned business and we will never sell or share our customers’ data. We regularly delete our customer database as allowed by law to keep our customers’ information safe.

American Concealed has never received any court order for any of our customers’ data, we will make it publicly known if any request or court order is made by any government agency.

Our customers’ privacy is one of our highest priorities.

WAIVER AND INDEMNITY

BY USING THE IOWACONCEALED.COM SERVICE, YOU AGREE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD AMERICAN CONCEALED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS HARMLESS WITH RESPECT TO ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF YOUR BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR USE OF THE IOWACONCEALED.COM SERVICE, OR ANY ACTION TAKEN BY AMERICAN CONCEALED AS PART OF ITS INVESTIGATION OF A SUSPECTED VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT OR AS A RESULT OF ITS FINDING OR DECISION THAT A VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT HAS OCCURRED. THIS MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT SUE OR RECOVER ANY DAMANGES FROM AMERICAN CONCEALED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS AS A RESULT OF ITS DECISION TO REMOVE OR REFUSE TO PROCESS ANY INFORMATION OR CONTENT, TO WARN YOU, TO SUSPEND OR TERMINATE YOUR ACCESS TO THE IOWACONCEALED.COM SERVICE, OR TO TAKE ANY OTHER ACTION DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF A SUSPECTED VIOLATION OR AS RESULT OF AMERICAN CONCEALED’S CONCLUSION THAT A VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT HAS OCCURRED. THIS WAIVER AND INDEMNITY PROVISIONS APPLIES TO ALL VIOLATIONS DESCRIBED IN OR CONTEMPLATED BY THIS AGREEMENT.

Our instructors are NRA Certified though this is not an NRA approved course.
